Review : Rome
Rome is a paradox. You love to love it and can't stop hating it either. The sheer beauty of monuments, buildings; the suspense of the mafiaso and the vast history will encapsulates your mind like no other city in world. On the other hand the poor civic conditions take you for a toss. You can't understand why a beautiful and small city like roam can't get the garbage to the place where it belongs to. It does not look like Italy is a poor country [just an outsiders view], which makes you wonder more why they can't take care of the most obvious things like cleanliness, civic amenities , law and order etc. If you are a tourist, beware of the con men, and every body trying to overcharge you. Even for the smallest of things.
A lot of times standing at one place you would see on your right the most beautiful building ever seen and on turning left the biggest pile of litter.
Keeping the con's aside, I do think that Italians are a little weird [no offense] but the most beautiful people inside and outside. They are warm and helpful but at the same time very protective and defensive.
If I get a chance to go Rome again, I would - definitely.

Travel Tip : Rome
When in Rome...A few places I think that you will really want to see. The Colosseum, it is on eof the most amazing things I have ever seen before. You just get hit with this crazy energy as soon as you walk in through the gates. It is beautiful and so much is still alive there it truly is amazing. Remember to lick the wall for good luck. Also, I think you shoudl see the "Under Ground City", another amazing site, it is where the Gladiators used to stay while they were fighting in the Colosseum. It is amazing that it was so long ago and there is still so much left of it. I hope you all enjoy your stay if or when you do go. It truly is a breath taking trip.
