having traveled to the city of Wuhan China twice in the last year and half I
will say that my experience there was excellent, the people seem to be the
happiest in the world ,and the most friendly too, the language is a problem
but not insurmountable as the locals will do their best to try and communicate.
The locale hotels range from a non rated rooming house to 5 star international
hotels one can get very affordable lodging for very little by the standards that we in the US are accustomed to having to pay,example my first hotel was a 4 star international , I had a 4 room suite for under400.00 USD for a 2 week stay
Local site of interest are many and varied from Yellow Crane Tower on Snake Hill to the Red Chamber that commemorates the 1911 overthrow of the last Imperial Dynasty, and more there are sculpture parks and recreational areas all through the Wuhan area.
Dinning is an experience that is not to be missed many local dishes are available to sample (Wuhan Fish is not to be missed is a renown favorite)
